Litchi Travel provides an online platform to search, compare and book hotel accommodation.

After rate verification and secure payment to Litchi Travel LTD, Litchi Travel LTD arranges the booking with its hotel distribution partners and, once confirmed, issues a booking confirmation and invoice to the customer.

Information shown before payment (availability, displayed rates) is indicative until the booking is confirmed.

Litchi Travel LTD is a company incorporated under the laws of England and Wales (Company No. 16458401), with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.

Litchi Travel provides an online platform to search, compare and book hotel accommodation.

The services relate to hotel accommodation bookings only. Airline tickets are not sold on the site. Litchi Travel LTD does not sell package travel and does not hold an ATOL, ABTA or Atout France licence.

The customer pays Litchi Travel LTD (merchant of record for payment). Litchi Travel LTD then books with its distribution partners. Customer funds are processed via secure payment providers; Litchi Travel LTD is not a bank and does not provide ATOL-style insolvency protection.

A rate verification (quote) is not an option hold and does not constitute a firm booking.

Payment to Litchi Travel LTD authorises Litchi Travel LTD to proceed with the booking via its distribution partner. The booking becomes firm only after written confirmation (confirmation email and/or attached documents) stating the booking reference.

Hotels, services and offers displayed may be modified, suspended or withdrawn at any time. If the stay becomes unavailable after payment, Litchi Travel LTD will endeavour to offer an equivalent solution or a refund depending on the circumstances.

Litchi Travel does not sell flight tickets.

Any flights mentioned on the site or during exchanges are for indicative or information purposes only.

Travellers book their flights with the relevant airlines or platforms, at their own responsibility.

Hotel prices displayed on the site are indicative and may change depending on availability, season, length of stay, number of travellers and partners' commercial terms.

The applicable price is the one confirmed at checkout before payment is completed.

The invoice issued reflects the amount actually paid to Litchi Travel LTD for the arranged hotel booking.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, payment is made to Litchi Travel LTD via the secure payment solutions offered on the site (card payments).

When Klarna (instalment payment) is offered at checkout, its own terms apply in addition to these terms. The Klarna surcharge is not refunded if you cancel.

Payment to Litchi Travel LTD constitutes booking confirmation only after payment validation and issuance of the booking confirmation by Litchi Travel LTD.

Cancellation, modification and refund terms depend on the booked rate and the rules applicable to that offer, as communicated before payment and restated on the confirmation.

It is the traveller's responsibility to review these conditions before committing. For a confirmed booking, cancellation is done from My account: a still-valid flexible rate, by entering your IBAN for a bank-transfer refund; a non-refundable rate, with no transfer. You can also write to us at contact@litchi-travel.com.

Where a cancellation entitles you to a refund under the booked rate terms, a 4.9% handling fee is retained on the stay amount (excluding any instalment-payment surcharge). The amount paid out is therefore 95.1% of that amount, by bank transfer within 5 to 8 business days.

If you paid with Klarna, the Klarna surcharge (about 3%) is not refunded.

Rates labelled as “flexible cancellation” do not mean a full refund of the amount paid to Litchi Travel LTD: where a refund applies, the amount repaid is 95.1% after deduction of the handling fee above.

Once the flexible cancellation deadline has passed, the booking is no longer refundable. A non-refundable rate can still be cancelled from My account: no refund is due.

Under consumer law applicable to accommodation services provided on a specific date or according to a determined periodicity, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to hotel bookings for specific dates.

Any cancellations and refunds are governed solely by the booked rate terms communicated before payment, and by the “Cancellations” section of these terms.

Travellers are responsible for checking their travel documents (passport, visa, insurance, health requirements) and ensuring the chosen offer meets their expectations.

Displayed rates are determined according to availability and conditions offered at the time of search. Prices may change at any time depending on availability, demand and applicable commercial terms.

If a dispute arises, first contact Litchi Travel LTD at contact@litchi-travel.com to seek an amicable solution.

A consumer mediator will be appointed and published at the full public launch of the site. Until then, complaints are handled first amicably at the address above.

These terms are governed by the law applicable in the United Kingdom, subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions that may apply depending on the traveller's situation.

In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution and, where appropriate, mediation will be sought first. Failing that, the competent courts may be seized in accordance with applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections.
